Things I like about myself is my ability to see all sides of things, I am very forgiving and I am compassionate. My beliefs have helped me learn these things.

My religious ideals finally led me to rely on tangible proof for belief, which is very important to me now.
In essence religion enabled me to come to the conclusion that the existence of God is very unlikely.

i am not a religious person, but, i have investigated and researched many different belief systems, and all of them offer a moral code to live a happy life.
So, therefore, i consider my best trait to be - developing a moral code from the various belief systems, without needing a 'god' or a 'messiah'.

My utter ambivalence.
I don't really give a toss what anyone says about me. I don't give a toss about anyone else's feelings when I say things about them.
I might not be totally emotionally indestructible, but I'm as near as anyone alive.
[People accuse me of losing my temper a lot, but that is only because they falsely relate emotion to what I type. They don't seem to realise that I can quite calmly inform people that they're insane and tell them to fvck off. There is no emotional output.... besides the occasional smirk.]

"Be your friend's true friend
Return gift for gift
Repay laughter with laughter
But betrayal with treachery"
In other words, treat people how they treat you. If someone is your friend and is kind to you, you should be kind to them in return. But if someone really mistreats you, all bets are off, you are not obligated to be so kind to them. This is a departure from what I was taught in my previous religion about always being kind and loving everyone. That simply is not natural. Sometimes you must reply cunning for cunning.
