God is the ultimate judge and refuge for all, and He does not call upon nor pray to any others. But Jesus acknowledged that there was One whom he worshipped and to Whom he prayed when he said, "I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God." (John 20:17). He is also reported to have cried out while on the cross, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (Matt. 27:46). If Jesus were God, then couldn't this be read, "Myself, myself, why hast thou forsaken me?". Would that not be pure nonsense? When Jesus prayed the Lord's Prayer (Luke 11:2-4), was he praying to himself? When in the garden of Gethsemane he prayed, "O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will but as thou wilt." (Matt. 26:36). Was Jesus praying to himself? That Jesus, of his own admission and by his own actions, acknowledged, worshipped, and prayed to another being as God is clear proof that Jesus himself is not God.

According to the Bible, God is an invisible spirit....

God became fully human while still being God the Father in Heaven. The same way after Jesus died on the cross, He came to us as the Holy Spirit.

The 3 in 1 of God is hard to understand. Take H2O (water) Ice becomes water, water becomes steam, steam freezes and becomes ice melts becomes water etc. It's not exactly . . .

When Jesus was on the cross the Holy Spirit (God) left this perfect vessel and Jesus, fully human, died for our sins.

In the Old Testament God came to the Holy of Holys in the Temple - much preparation went into building and preparing the Temple for God to dwell.

Jesus was the Temple of God while He walked on earth. Through His sacrifice we now can know God and talk to Him because Jesus sent the "Comforter" - the Holy Spirit that is within those who accept Jesus as Lord of their hearts and Savior who died for their sins.

The Bible was rewritten by Roman Pagans who realized that their empire was being destroyed by religion. Christianity came along and, at first, the Pagans killed them. But Christianity became popular to the north and the Christians began killing Pagans. The Pagans realized that, in order to save their people, they would have to "convert". They rewrote the bible and took out all the parts that made Jesus seem mortal, but the story doesn't make much sense with half of it missing. They used fear to convert their own people over to Christianity, but they let the Pagans keep their holidays. This is why Santa Claus has nothing to do with Jesus, and neither does an Easter Bunny, but they're considered the same holiday. A true Christian shouldn't get gifts for Christmas since this is a Pagan tradition for Yule and painting eggs is a Pagan tradition for Eostre. Jesus was a regular guy who did great things for humanity. That's all.

I see your string of questions. You don't understand that God the Son 'emptied' himself to become Jesus of Nazareth, but I guess you'll carry that with you to your grave. If there was only a pill you can take for that.

But I chose this one out of your stream of questions to tell you somthing else:

Who says that Jesus and God didn't have a relationship that was unique? That is, calling eachother God? The Father calls Jesus God, didn't you know?

Hebrews 1:6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,
"Let all God's angels worship him." 7 In speaking of the angels he says,
"He makes his angels winds,
his servants flames of fire." 8 But about the Son he says,
"Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever,
and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.

The Trinity is a mystery. One God in three persons. In Genesis 1:26, the wording is "Let 'us' make man in 'our' image ... "

Scientists used to say that we only use 10% of our brains (don't know if that is still the case ... might be more like 'we can get by with only 10% of our brains' ... or that there is 90% of our brain that they aren't aware of what it is for).

My speculation is that somehow in heaven, God "flicks the switch" and the other 90% is fully engaged. Then doctrines like the Trinity, free will, etc. will make sense.

It's just that the intent of the author/s was to invent a different religion when they wrote it. Then when the Catholic Church got into it they decided on a whole new direction so they just did a little ridiculous interpretation of their own. It doesn't really matter anyway because you cant get anything positive out of a false precept.

Your misinterpretation goes way beyond comprehension. If you want to slander the Bible, to make yourself feel better, try to make some sense. Jesus was not a god or God, his Father was God, His one moment, when he questioned God, He was NAILED to a cross, thus showing his own humanity. Shame on you.

You obviously don't hold to the trinity do you?

One God.....eternally existing in 3 distinct persons:

Father, Son & Holy Spirit

but what if God, is one of many gods, throughout the earths history there have been all sorts of gods, what if those gods created god, to create the god that created jesus, to spread the word of confusion and intolerance! Then all the gods ran off to leave behind only the one god, who justs says ' not my fault, i was just obeying orders'.

It's all do with the Holy Trinity which refers to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is something we won't uderstand until we die.
