Some people in the USA migrate to Canada and some people from Canada migrate to the USA. I am collecting a vast number of reasons why these people decided to jump beyond their citizenship fences. Thank you.

I love Canada. I am happy with our government and health care system. The country is very beautiful. Depending on where you live, the climate is pretty moderate and you get to enjoy all four of the seasons.

When there is a Federal election, we as the voters actually get the say in who wins. The crime rate is very low compared to the US. There are also a lot of similarities in the US and Canada when it comes to entertainment, religion, fashion, language, morale etc but we don't have terrorism and war.

There is a lot of diversity with a lot less racism than the US. We have lots of nature. Even downtown Toronto there are parks and trees everywhere. People are usually really nice to each other and will spark conversation whilst going about our business.

Taxes aren't ridiculous and the government gives us money back for our utilities when the prices are increased. Our education system is really good. We don't follow the "No child is left behind" thing that the US does. This ensures that children are getting the level of education that they need and are not just passed because they get too old. I think I have proved my point judging by some of the answers from the Americans on here that obviously don't know much about Canada.

I would never move to the US. I think it can be a nice place to visit but I am proud to be a Canadian. The only people that I know who moved to the US did so because of marriage.

I live in the US and have spent lots of time in Canada and I will continue to live in the US. Canada is nice and I respect their way of life but I prefer mine. I saw in Canada large numbers of teens living on the streets and was told that they are doing that because they are allowed to collect welfare at a young age so they leave home to get out from under parental control. I will not say that their country is worse or better but I like what our country was founded on and the fact that if we citizens ever wake up we control our countries destiny.

If I move to Canada, it'll be for Hockey. But I enjoy the warmer temps more, so I'll stick around the U.S.

They've been a great neighbor to us, and I hope they feel the same.

USA all the way: Warmer beaches and no 'eh.... I know the 'eh thing shouldn't be a big deal.. but we all have pet peeves... and that one is like nails on a chalk board to me.. it's larger than I am :P

but seriously.. the US and Canada are both fine choices.. but I like being an American.. no reason to change that.

I was born and raised in the United States and have never thought of moving anywhere else in the world to live. I love being here and I love my country.

id much rather stay in Canada...i have traveled all over the states and find it to very dirty and the people are rude and uneducated
we might not nice warm places to live, and yes it can be cold
but we don't think like small minded Americans do,
you can what you like about Canada, whether it be good or bad.......but at least our government care about if we have health care, and we don't send our poor and sick by taxi,to the slums to die, like some of your american states do
and we take care of our first nation people
