Call your credit card company(phone number for customer service is on the back) and tell them you are disputing the charge. They will put a hold on paying yahoo and you will not be considered late or past due. Then try to contact Yahoo which will take a hell of a lot of work on your part.

You need to call your credit card company. They are the ones that are going to have to do the research for you. My ex-husband had a charge come up on his card that he didn't not authorize. They are the ones that are going to have to investigate it for you to get your money back.
By chance, was there a phone number or email address beside the charge on your bill? I know that most charges done on the Internet appear on my card with that information following it.
Good luck!!

You must be very careful anytime you use a credit or debit card. Sometimes when you sign for a one time charge, you must read the fine print or ask questions, because most of them will say, by signing you give them the authority to charge your next purchase or charge after the trial period, or the authority to charge for the next period of time. To avoid this, ask questions, read the small print or go to the site or the company and get validation that you are cancel ling the approval to charge your card.

If you got an email telling you of this charge and gives you a link, dont do it! This is called phishing. I recently got one from Paypal telling me of a charge, even giving me the item purchased, the amount and the name and address of the person supposably making the purchase. It gave me a link that asked for my approval. This is bogus. Call your CC company to make sure this charge wasnt made and let them know you didnt make it.
