Having a bad diet day (week) and need some motivation :)

Well I'll state the obvious , your health. You can increase your life span.If you have children you can give horsey rides( personally this old grey mare ain't what she used to be, more like a rocking horse)You will also gain control over your body.You will regain self esteem, not only because of body image but the fact you set a goal and even though it was difficult you never gave up. You can get a new wardrobe.(Just thought I'd put that in so I wasn't too serious) Remember the weight went on slowly ,so it will take time to come off.Slow and steady win the race. Like anything in life, you take it one day at a time. Good luck.You can do it.

Alongside what everyone else has already said, another major bonus about losing weight is simply how you feel. When i lost weight, I felt happy. I felt more sexual, more active, more energetic, more lively, more fun. Altogether, my quality of life improved. I have fun going shopping and trying on new outfits or even just participanting in things I never would have before because I was uncomfortable, like playing beach vollyball or wearing a bikini on the beach.

The health benefits are endless; you stand a lesser chance of high blood pressure, the same for heart attack, and many other diseases/conditions related to those, and you won't be looked down upon, many people look down on fat people, believe me, I know, and the best part is that you will feel better about the way you look, yourself.

You will cut your risk for all types of diseases like Diabetes(big problem), Heart disease(#1 killer of women), Stroke, and many more. Plus, by exercising you will get the "high" which gives you more energy and a more postive outlook on life. Good luck and keep working on it! We all need motivation!

* Gallbladder disease
* Rashes and other skin abnormalities (such as warts)
* High blood pressure

You'll look and feel better, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

What do you stand to gain by losing weight? Easy! Your health! Being overweight can cause all sorts of diseases: cancer, arthritis, heart disease, etc.

Increase in self esteem, general overall health, and stamina. Also, an increase in your metabolism which means you'll be able to eat a little more! :-)
