I'm not sure I belive there is an Illuminati. However, in any secret organization, applications won't be commonplace. I guess it's one of those "who you know" kind of deals, where family members have to be involved for generations. That is IF such an organization exists.

You cannot "join". They are too elitist to just let anyone join. They do the picking. If you're elite, successful or important in their eyes, they will find you.

One doesn't join, one is inducted! It is an age old process which you are groomed for from and early age. Induction follows strict rules of selection.
