I have been over weight always. About few years ago, I took a one year course of "Herbalife" products to slim down. It did help, but temporarily - only until I was taking these and as soon as I stopped taking these, I became fatter again. This time, I became 'obese' and have accumalated a lot of fat in my tummy and hip area. Someone told me that by intaking such slimming products, in long run our body becomes kind of 'resistant' to losing weight and either it leaves us with a difficult flab or it takes lot of time to slim down in the natural way.
Is this true?

I have been on a diet since last few months and have been doing regular exercise. But my body does not seem to show much results. Can I relate my weaker results to the above philosophy?

I have always been against any diet product, natural or medical. The reason they mess with the metabolism of the body and your body becomes confused. It doesn't know if it's supposed to retain fat or dispose of it.

It will take time the natural way of just reducing calories to lose weight, but if you add walking daily this will help get your metabolism going once again.

Drink lots of water , eat fresh fruit and plenty of green vegetables. This is going to help you lose weight by flushing the system . I also recommend you use a powder fiber supplement twice daily as this will help your body release fat .

I will try to keep it simple. Your metabolism is basically the rate at which your body burns calories to create energy. So the faster your metabolism, the faster you burn calories and the easier it is to lose unwanted weight. To boost your metabolism naturally you just need to eat the right foods.

You can sit down and literally eat a 1,000-calorie dinner and yet be absolutely starving just a few hours later and the reason is simple: Because your body didnt get what it needed in those 1,000 calories so it sends signals to your brain telling you to ingest more calories and thus, the late-night cravings. That means that the surest way to end those late-night cravings and keep your weight loss goals on track is to eat a more balanced, nutritious diet that actually gives your body what it needs.

It's VERY EASY to lose weight if you eat the right foods. Check out this video here: http://www.sexyjese.com - it will blow your mind.

Hello, I actually do like herbalife. What I know about it worked for me. I do not know your eating or exercising behavior and sometimes herbalife has bad fame because sometimes people that sell the products do not do a great job by helping their customers. My mom sells herbalife and she is great; she tells their clients do not expect miracles of herbalife. It is a good product, but you have to combine this products with exercising and as well watch what you eat.
Here is a website that might help your weight loss goal:

Probably what happened to you is that after you diet and then you start eating the same your body gets back what it lost. Probably that is why you accumulate more fat in your tummy and hip area. Do some research for dieting and how you can do in order not to regain what you lost.
Herbalife is good but you might need someone that tells you exactly what it good for your goals, if you just do not want to know more about herbalife do you own personal diet. Exercise, watch what you eat, see what exercise are the ones that will help you reduce fat where you want to burn it, and be healthy.
Hope this helps I really wish that one day you accomplished your goal!

Doesn't mattter how you dieted before. If you keep your calories less than 1500 AND carbs less than 50, you will lose weight. If you add a little exercise you can go up slightly with the cals and carbs. There is nothing mysterious about losing weight. Some folks just have better willpower than the rest of us. It can be done! Hang in there!
