You have to remember, though many claim to be Christians they really don't study the word of Jesus. Please don't judge all of us Christians as one whole. Also remember we are ALL works in progress, God has to work with each individual, and some just take longer than others.
And yes, we should all respect the wishes of Jesus and try to get along better!

It pains me to assert this, yet in a lot of respects you're proper. i have self assurance like the time is coming at the same time as many Christians can ought to take an fairly vocal stand with the media about their disrespect for Jesus. It frustrates me a lot after I see human beings accepting such slander. I do not ignore that maximum of it really is invented by technique of an unbelieving concepts, yet in a capitalist and democratic society, Christians should be prepared to take a stand about the advertising of the offensive components. have self assurance what you want, promote what you want, say what you want. yet in case you do not prefer to take heed to it or see it, replace the channel, walk away, write a letter, and do not purchase the products until eventually a replace is made. As for the language used, i'm certain that God will carry us responsible for the methods in which we use His call, and the call of His Son. and that i'm hoping that as our society turns into more advantageous integrated with those of the Muslim faith, we may be able to take a web page from their own e book about respect for both Prophets and God.

I think too many "Christians" whoreship Jesus and go to Him when they need a quick Jesus fix, rather than having a relationship with him.

No one in the real sense of the word respects
Yeshua !
Or they would not using the cross as symbols .
Kill in Christ name nor in Jesus name. They would be building bonds and helping the people of the world to understand his true message .
Would we be collecting money IN HIS NAME

NO, if you mean "Christendoom". You are correct in saying that the leaders of this worldwide religion have been guilty of: wars, immorality, and all vile things.
Jesus himself prophecied this when he said: 'many will call me lord, perform miracles, AND do evil things in my name', But he continued: ' I will tell them, I never knew you, get away from me.' (Matthew 7:21-23)
Beside these, they love to display the instrument used to torture him, the cross. Think: If your brother was killed by a gun would you display that gun on your chest to remind you of your brother?

You know, Mr Indignant? I totally agree with you, but I extend it to the other religions, too (for instance, different factions of Muslim people kill each other!).
This is the main reason why, after spending years in a Catholic school, I decided that I didn´t believe in Religion (I believe in God, though)....

They don't respect him in the slightest... as a general rule.
They put fanciful names to him and make those names the centre of their idolatry....
They care only for his death... and never for his life...
They chant about -what- he was... but never consider -who- he was.
They repeat what he was claimed to have said.... but never do they try to do as he did.
His life was wasted on them.
And to those few christians who DO get it right... much respect to you.
