Not with the intention of checking it matches what is stated on the packaging!
If I open a packetof bacon, i`ll do a quick count once their all on the grill to see how many weve got each etc, but i wouldnt get the packet out and check!

I sometimes notice mistakes, though I wouldn't count the number if there was 30 of them! Think about if you were making hundreds of packs, sometimes you would accidentally put an extra one in - don't get hung up about it, just be happy you got something for free! xx

Never. Life is way too short!

PS They must be really good quality sausages to come in a pack of 30/31.

I've never counted sausages, but I make sure there are a dozen unbroken eggs in a carton.

Occasionally, only when it's important. One time I admit that I counted the slices in a loaf of bread to see if they'd come out even. They didn't, it was an odd number!

He he! that's why the old folk always molest a loaf of bread before putting it in their basket, they're counting the slices!

Sometimes, like when there are meant to be five pieces of bacon and there are actually six.
