im looking for a lcd tv, or possibly a plasma screen tv. i want one of high quality for a cheap price. dont tell me to look on ebay because i am not willing to deal with high shipping costs. the tv should be in the 27 inch to 35 inch screen size range and between $200 and $900. thanks for your help everyone!!!!!!

If you have a Costco near you, I would definitely recommend a 32" Vizio. Great picture. I've seen these side-by-side with a Sony and the Vizio blows it away! You can probably get one for around $600 dollars or less at Costco. Hopefully you have a Costco near you. It appears that Sam's Club may be dealing these as well.

Well i have a 40" smasung lcd 1080p and its amazing...
and i also have a 55" hitachi director series plasma...
those are my two favorite brands but if you want a plasma and dont care how much you have to pay for the best picture ever get the pioneer they are insane...

The best plasmas are better than LCD, picture-wise, but they ar eway out of your price range. Panasonic makes the best LCD TV I have seen, although Sharp is also very good. I'd stick with one of those brands and avoid the cheapo brands.

You still have to wait a year or two. Prices will plummet (kinda) and lifespan will increase. It will save you of throwing this one out and buying the one I suggested anyway.
