I think it's a combination of factors, very similar to what makes guys attractive to us.

Physical appearance certainly is of initial importance, since most of us are naturally attracted to good-looking individuals. That's not shallow, just an honest observation.

Afterwards, however, other factors assume greater importance, such as kindness, intelligence, a sense of humor and just an overall feeling that this is a "good person". A similarity of interests, values and beliefs also helps to cement a relationship.

As our tastes change over time, so do the types of people to whom we're attracted. As a girl, that certainly holds true for me, and I suspect that it's pretty much the same for guys.

Her mind. And by extension, her heart and soul. I think a woman that has an intellectual mind and a witty sense of humor is VERY attractive. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

Smart guys have learned that a woman's intellect and humor actually affect men's perceptions of her much more than makeup or clothes.

Men are attracted to the women that are self-confident and self-reliant. A woman that obviously cares about her appearance. Cussing and having an "attitude" will not get the kind of man most of us desire. Men are attracted to women that have their own thing going on, aside from being in the relationship. If a woman is happy with who she is and enjoys her life.....men will want her.
Acting "needy" will turn them off faster than you can say "what did I do?"

It depends on the man. Looks do count to many men...at least at first. I think men look for what most people look for; honesty, a good sense of humor, intelligence, someone who's fun to be with. Someone who makes the man feel good about themselves.

Be yourself. Don't put on a false front at the beginning. You'll only end up losing the person you 'caught' once you go back to being yourself!

It varies by the person. Me I like tanned skin, dark hair, and large calf's. A nice smile is good also. Those are the physical attributes. Mentally, I like a woman who is secure in herself but allows me to be a man in public but has an understanding that at home she is in charge. That is okay with me.
