Or is there more to it such as the food that you may eat while drinking beer? Some people crave fattening food after drinking a six pack or two.

Is there other alcoholic drinks that does not give you a pot belly?

A beer gut isn't the result of drinking a lot of beer. It comes from eating and drinking without excercising. THose who drinki a six pack a day generally don't excercise much.

It's a coincidence.

I'm afraid that the "beer gut" you are referring to does not only occur in people that drink large quantities of beer. It will occur in anyone that consumes more calories than their body needs. There are tons of people who don't drink at all that have a "beer gut" just from eating too many calories or drinking to many sodas.

However, those individuals who drink lots of beer are most likely going to have a beer gut, because beer contains a plethora of calories.

I rather thing beer is about the only one that does and can give the Pot Bellys. How ever it's the amount one drinks that gives the Belly.
Also one tends to feel extremely hungary because of it as well.
It's one of the most easiest of alcoholic drinks.
