Have a recessed tub handle/soap dish that has no obvious screws or bolts. Want to install tub wall liners over existing tile - how to remove this thing?

I just demolished my bathroom a few weeks ago and removed all of the tiling and everything behind there. I found that the soap dish was actually held in place by the bed of cement behind there. I am doing the tiling work myself and asked the guy at the tile store what the best way of setting the dish on the new tiled wall, and he said that he always sets it in a bed of grout. Bottom line, get a hammer/chisel and break it! You won't find any screws!

Call a bathroom refurbishing company and see if someone will share that information.

It would probably come out with a small (Dremmel) grinder, by ginding out the grout. The hole won't be attractive, so I hope you are certain you are going to cover it.
