According to Christianity upon entering heaven, you have a sort of lobotomy of the spirit, you see, and you are no longer the person you were. You no longer care about all the "bad" people you loved deeply in life. Your friends, parents, children and loved ones have no meaning at all to you anymore, and all you want to do is stay on your knees and worship "God" forever and ever and ever and thank "him" for forgiving you for being the way "he" made you to be and for sparing you from eternal damnation.
Ever see that old movie "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"?

There are some less that clear verses in Isaiah 26 that indicate that God will remove the memory of the non-believers from those in heaven.

I think the Christians should have their equivalent if a drinking game for this question.... Do you realize how many times this is asked, and the answers are always the same - either, "yes, tough luck, they had there chance to go to heaven and they made their choice, and I will be perfectly happy in paradise without them," or "that is not for us to know, it is up to God and I am sure he will do the right thing because he's God."
I will add that this is another reason why Pascal's Wagre is assinine.. when you view your "earthly " relationships this way, as meaningless and disposable in the long run, your life here on earth (your only life) is terribly damaged and less worthwhile.

be afraid - there are many many christians!!!
A Christian is a follower of Jesus of Nazareth, referred to as the Christ. Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God,who was crucified and died at the end of his earthly life, and then on the third day, rose from the dead, and later ascended into heaven with the promise to return.
Most Christians believe in the Trinity or one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Christianity is the world's largest religion. It is estimated that there are approximately 2.1 billion Christians.

That's a good question.
We Christians believe that relationships -- especially marriage and parent/child relationships -- are actually illustrations of God's perfect love for us. However, they're no substitute for the love God shows us.
We believe that when we get to heaven, God's all-encompassing love will overpower all sadness and sorrow, and that our relationship with God alone will be all the fulfillment we need.
Thus, to answer your question, yes, despite my loved one being in hell, I would be happy in heaven. Because I love my loved ones, however, I would pray that the Holy Spirit would allow my loved ones to get to know Jesus Christ as the One who redeemed them from sin, death, and hell.

Cause when Jesus wipes all the tears away there will be no more sorrow. I cant tell you other thrn that cause I dont know what Heaven will be like. Its hard to know when all we know on this earth is sorrow, pain, mixed with joy as well.

All my children are God's children. They grow up and have freedom of choice, to love God or not. God decides what to do with all his children. He wants to keep the loving ones safe. And he has warned all of the consequences of not obeying his laws.
God promises to remove all bad memories, he says that they will not be called to mind.
The lake of fire is symbolic for the 2nd death, of which there is no resurrection, Rev. 20:14. There is no eternal burning. Just destruction, even Jesus will bring Satan to nothing.

It wouldn't be like I didn't warn her. Would the one who loved me want me to be miserable? I mean, if they really loved me, but thought I was wrong about Jesus, would they say, "My bad."
Apparently you have never met a widow? or a widower? I'm sure that there are some that hate life after their spouse passes away, but I would say that the younger they are at heart, the easier it is for them to get over it.
So I would be sad, but there is an eternity ahead. I wouldn't stay sad. It's not my fault that I chose the better thing.
You have a hard time with that? Good.

In the bible Revelation 21:4 " And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:for the former things are passed away ".
