How to promote courtesy through poster competition??

Well it would help if we had more information to go on. What kind of courtesy? In schools, in public, at home, with friends, at work, etc?

Here's one idea that would work, just off the top of my head. Take the letters of "courtesy" and then come up with something courteous about each letter. For example:

C = Cover your mouth when you cough
O = Open the door for others
U = Understand what others are saying
R = Respect privacy and space
T = Take time to pick up a piece of trash
E = Everybody likes a smiling face!
S = Say "please" and "Thank you"
Y = Yelling is for outdoors, never indoors

It would also help to know your target audience. Grade schools kids or adults, you know? Anyway, I hope that helped.
