Eat bitter melon if you have it there. You drink plenty of water with it and your taste buds will shut down. Maybe you need to get enrolled in a class if you can not find a job.

You did not say what kind of job you had before - if it was an active type of job or not. I took on a very physical job of painting and light carpentry unlike my old job which was more of an office type of standing and sitting , I lost 25 lbs in a year by eating more protien and less carbs. I stayed away from high sugar products and now feel much much better, I walk a dog daily and get outside more often, It makes a difference to plan activities and keep busy.

There is no substitute that is better than exercise to lose weight .

Do not over do exercise but build up to more of it over the comming weeks . Like 2 block walks to 1 mile for instance - gl

There are a coule of different things you can try. When you feel like snacking put a piece of gum in, suck on a mint or brush your teeth. Also, find an activity that uses your hands - knitting, painting, etc. When your hands are busy doing something else they can't reach for food. Or, when you find yourself looking through cupboards stop and go do 25 jumping jacks - more than likely you won't feel like eating after that. Get out of the house more often - go for a walk or bike ride, go to the library, museum or park. Lastly, start a food journal - write down everything you eat in a day. You'll find yourself eating less when you have to write it down. If you need help in staying truthful than you can share it with your spouse or friend so they can help hold you accountable for what you have eaten.

you can stop eating. it just takes a lot of mental power to do it. keep a food journal like at www.fitday.com which will help you moniter what you eat and keep track of calories and such, taking an interest in what you are eating and knowing the caloric info for the foods will help you avoid the bad ones. Go for a walk with your child for an hour each day (depending how old they are play catch or an intense game of hide and seek) remember if you don't have the junk food or fatty food in your house you can't eat it. yahoo food has a blog by HungryGirl.com which is a fairly healthy supermarket list. good luck. you can do it.

I actually understand you. Skinny people or people who don't eat a lot, they don't know what it is. It's when you cannot control yourself. I had that and I completely understand how you are feeling. I will give you a suggestion, when I want to eat and eat, I go for salads and cereal or fruits and vegetables.. that way if I do eat too much, I won't gain anything. Try exercising and try to have self control. Tell yourself you will not eat and it should help because it helped me. Good luck.

Drink a lot, have lots of fruit on hand and eat the fruit instead of chips & the like.

Also start recording what you eat. I use a program (on my palm pilot) called Diet and Exercise Assistant to help balance my calorie intake with my calorie output.

Throw some will power into the mix.

you are overeating through boredom.my advice is to get involved in some kind of mother child activity club to get you out of the house.even just take your child out for a walk twice a day to pass the time.you need to get back to your normal eating routines ie breakfast lunch and main meal.exercise will help to burn off the excess weight but you need to make the change soon before it's too late and then becomes more difficult.

Calorie counting is important as this helps us to keep a track of the amount of energy we are consuming, if we consume to much our body stores the excess as weight. My wife and I use a fantastic healthly Meal Replacement system called Herbalife I can organise to send you a free health analysis if you would like. This will provide you with the expertise to reduce your calorie intake whilst still enjoying food and keeping nutrition.
