I really do wonder. If you've read history at all, you'll know that these things have always happened and whats causing natural disasters is global warming. Which has also always happened and scientists have been saying that for years.

Its like you guys LOOK for reasons to celebrate the end of the world.

This has happened before, and it will happen again. Its a natural cycle.

Oh of course it was prophecied. How stupid do you have to be to think that natural disasters and humanities behavior couldn't be predicted? They've ALWAYS happened.

Btw, humanity's behavior isn't any different now than it has been in the past. In fact, its probably better because we're learning to be more tolerant, understanding, and accepting as well as promoting education.

Don't believe me? Go read a history book sometime and learn the real facts, not the ones your religion made up.

Christianman... what does it say about you personally that you welcome the death of others because they don't believe in your bible? Last I looked, your bible says doing that is a bad thing.

I'd say it's a scare tactic used by some "religious" leaders to whip their "followers" up into a froth to get them to follow along with whatever agenda is on the docket at the time. It's a psychological tactic and a darn good one. It also smacks of "cultish" behavior too.

I call it "abuse" pure and simple and a lot of people CHOOSE to believe it and some are just unable to understand anything different. Very sad stuff.

People have always had a fascination with the end of the world, I have also always wondered why. First it was the Y2K bug, now they say its gonna be in the year 2013 because of the Mayan calendar or something.

When it comes to religious people, I think they are waiting for their god to come down and fix their problems, what they don't realize that the emancipation from suffering is humanities responsibility. As for everyone else, I really don't know.

Well, the comment you made about Global Warming aside, it's eagerness. As i understand it, we are eager to get it going. I tire of myself, as God promised to rid us of sin-- as in the nature of sin, when we meet. I can hardly wait.

So forgive us for seeming to want the world to come to an end, we have a happy ending waiting for us.

Of Course, we can want to stay here as long as possible in this world where God is being blamed for everything from baldness to genocide, and try to keep ourselves on lowfat diets and watch our f'ing cholesterol levels. And fear to look old by using this and that cream on our faces, or perhaps with botox injections, or reading about some a hole who shot up a preschool, you know, fun stuff. lol

Yes, this world is appearing more and more comfortable all the time. It's like the song, " It's Getting Better All the Time!"

Good News! You are looking at a world that is temporary. It's not going to matter if Brittney ever gets her act back together. At least to the rest of us it won't. And what was in Anna Nicole's refrigerator won't be a thing to remember in eternity! Isn't that wonderful?

Well the end surely is coming, when is only a matter of time. However if you grasp a hold of reality long enough to consider the fact that the world may last for several hundreds of years longer or more, But you could have a heart attack tonight and your world would certainly end. Have you ever even considered the fact that we were born to die? And nothing but death is certain? If you can't take a little suffering now what makes you so confident you will enjoy it throughout eternity?Take care and I pray GOD blesses you spiritually

Actually most Christians do not really believe this, they only use it to scare people into accepting Jesus as their savior. Fear is a great way to control people, I should know my parents fed me that crap for 14 years. I lived most of my childhood being scared of my own shadow.

It seems that Christians are a part of this natural cycle Moiraes.

These things have been happening for thousands of years and Christians have been yelling the sky is falling for thousands of years.

Some things just never change.

because they are looking for something to validate their beliefs. Nevermind that 90% of the world's population is better off than ever before in any period of history, no matter how bad it is in some places.

The end of wickedness is coming, then the earth will have a new 'heavens' or government with Jesus as King and Christians as rulers, and the earth will become a Paradise, it is God's will.

Jesus said, 'You will be with me in Paradise."

Also Daniel 2:44 ...it will crush and end all these kingdoms...

We are living in the end times and i hope non-Christian find God before it is too late for them. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whosoever does not believe will be condemned.
