Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice. Here is my situation: I currently have a relaxer and I'm quite tired of it. I exercise 5x/week and I sweat profusely in my hair. I wash it at least twice per week to get all the dirt and salt out of it. I hate the maintenance. I have a semi-short 'do and I have to curl it every morning to get it to do right. Wrapping doesn't work for me. I would like to cut it all off and go natural. I've had my hair that way before and I was often mistaken as a teenage boy. :-( That's about the ONLY thing that's keeping me from doing it now. Does anyone have any stories they can share about their personal transition? Does anyone have a persuasion either way to keep the relaxer or go natural? I saw Ketherine on ANTM and I thought her weave was gorgeous. Is that easy to have done? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated! (I do have a regular beautician who I see every other week, BTW).

i have no idea,
for you you because you exercise a lot,
if you get a sew in weave, then it wil look just as bad, when you exercise,
maybe you should try micro braids

I'm currently growing my hair out too....I've been getting a weave for the past few months and it's been a great time saver. i choose the dream weave line.... wash it, spray with a little curl activator and go! and my hair is getting a much needed rest and is growing in great. when it gets to the length i want, I'll just take it out.
