That depends on which religion you ask.

Ancient Greeks would tell you "Charon, the ferryman to hell (Hades)." or "Cerberus, the three-headed hound of hell."

Hindu's will tell you "Yama, the god of death and the king of hell, who will judge you."

Some Buddhist will ask you "What hell, as there are several?"

But many people in other religions will tell you there is no hell, or that hell is just a state of mind, or a temporary waiting room.

In *my* humble opinion you will be welcomed in hell by a information kiosk running Microsoft Windows and just showing the Blue Screen Of Dead forever.

wow! Interesting question and some interesting answers~ !!! I love these questions about hell...and I agree that it's not a vacation spot, and that there would be no welcome! However.....some people who know the truth about what hell actually is, hit the nail on the head! HELL actually is the grave! There's a false rumor, invented by some religions, who want to scare people into being good, by telling us that bad people go to HELL!!!This is a myth! The truth of the subject about HELL is that none of us, upon death, goes to a fiery hell......as Hell is the grave, According to God's plan, we go the grave when we die, then God gives all who ever lived, their first opportunity to experience His love, and His ways of living. ( Those who are currently Baptized into Christ, have made the commitment to Him now, so this is our one and only chance to live the life He wants us to) If, after being shown how to live God's way, some people still reject it, they will be cast into the "lake of fire" where they will be burned up completely, as if they never lived! Check it out in the Bible...
Soooooo...there you have it! The mythological version popular in the world, is that we might burn in hell..
The Biblical truth is that we're not going to burn in Hell, unless we, at some future point, reject God's way of living!

CHRISTIAN RELIGION DOES NOT SAY.
GREEK MYTHOLOGY HAS A FEW ON THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE. CHARON(the ferry man-paid him to get you across the river Styx). CERBERUS THE THREE HEADED DOG GUARDING THE GATES TO HADES. THEN THERE IS PLUTO THE BIG BOSS. THEN THERE IS DEATH AND DREAM AND SLEEP AND MANY MORE. IT'S PRETTY CROWDED AND SOUNDS HORRIBLE.

HI
In greek mythology it would be Hades but the truth in the bible says you are asleep with no thought at all so I guess no one meets you since the in the bible hell translates as the common grave.
