Chiari malformation is not associated with pituitary problems or diabetes. It is, however, associated with hydrocephalus (lay term...water on the brain), spina bifida, a cerebral spinal fluid-filled tubular cyst, tethered cord syndrome and spinal curvatures (scoliosis and kyphosis).
