How different/relevant are the above statements in respect to your spritual quest/journey ?

They are very relevant to our spiritual and physical aspect of life, it shows our continual relationship with God.

I read: to meditate on God's word Joshua 1:8
I see: seeing the wonderful work of God (see the way God sees)
I understand (understanding what you studied), I believe (not doubting), I receive (act of faith, i.e. putting your faith into action, these three (understand, believe, receive) goes together in terms of having faith in God

Can be used for any book. Reading the bible without the help of the Holy Spirit to guide us is like reading any other book.
Reading the bible with the help of the Holy Spirit will open our understanding of God and what He wants in our life.

i never believe what i read, i always second guess it. i am a cautious person. and not gullible. if you read something and automatically just believe what your reading then you aren't a very smart person. to be smart would be. to double check, cross referencing. maybe read the original text of what your attempting to learn.

I would see all of those things as relevant. It describes the verbs of my relationship with God, when they are applied to spirituality.
