Because Christianity is a worthless religion that doesn't make it's followers better people. I'm sure you've heard the bumper sticker slogan, "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven". This is the lame excuse Christians use to continue to be terrible people, but still remain Christian. The fact remains that Christianity provides no evidence whatsoever of it's Truth and the lives of its followers are no good example to others and basically the religion provides no use at all to humanity.

First of all, I am not a huge fan of President Bush. He's okay as a president; we could have done a lot better, but we also could have done a lot worse.
So tell me, when is it okay for a Christian to put their beliefs aside and declare war? Or is it ever okay? If a president (or any other politician) allows their religion to get in the way, they're not a very good leader, are they?
FORGET the reasons we went into Iraq, and just consider that. We don't know if the president was given faulty information, if he lied, or if it was actually the truth. We just don't know. And I don't think we'll EVER know.
As far as money goes, it's the LOVE of money that gets a person in trouble, not money itself. If a person is willing to let go of their money, and they don't hoard it, there is nothing wrong with being rich.
As for your thing about "spitting venom" towards homosexuals and non-believers, what is your definition of spitting venom? Even Jesus told people to "go and sin no more." Jesus told the TRUTH, even when it wasn't convenient.
I don't believe in telling people that they're going to hell because they're HORRIBLE, and that I'm so much better, because that's judgemental and wrong. However, I see nothing wrong with pointing out what the Bible says, as long as it's done in love and kindness.
But mainly, what I would like to communicate to you is that none of us are perfect. Do some use this as a license to sin? YES. But please, don't judge all by the actions of a few, and most importantly, don't judge Christianity itself by the mistakes some people make.
Christ's teachings are perfect. The rest of us can only ASPIRE to be.

Not to knock your version of scripture but I'd like to make a couple of observations. 1. Jesus called the money changers Vipers, he called the King a fox. Jesus was not spitting venom...he told the truth. As far as Christians and money (some NOT all) go after the earths riches...don't judge every Christian for acts of a few

People who do not act as they should are still Christians, that just means they're sinners. But we all sin. But then again, some sin more than others.
The characteristics of greed that many rich people have are sinful, however, it is possible for a rich person that gives of themselves to help others and not spoil in their greed to enter heaven.
Once again, Christians that attack non-believers and homosexuals are being sinful. Being sinful does not make them not Christian, however, they are not acting like a Christian. People who judge others need to look in the mirror.
In conclusion, you can do bad things and be a Christian, but that doesn't make you a good person or a good Christians. There are many hypocrites that are Christians, and it is unfortunate. They should not judge, for they are the ones to be judged.

It is quite obvious that George Bush is not a Christian, but a "War Man" who has made a deal with the underworld, and the kings of the underworld. Julius Caesar was a man who took by force - all that he wanted to, under his psuedo Democracy. The one thing he yearned for, but never could attain to - was the crown of a king or monarch. His life was snuffed short on the Ides of March. 44 B.C.. He got in death, what he had yearned for in life - a crown - see first horseman in Rev.. In a democratic country we vote to elect a temporary monarch - did I say monarch, I meant leader. They have a three and a half year term, like the three and one half times in Rev. They vote a new leader in, and he brings seven more politicians in, more unscrupulous than himself. And on and on we go in continuous rounds of plundering the country. So goes the ride of the first horseman.

Christians are humans ... we try to live the way our Lord showed us .... it is very hard but we love it and when we fall we rise again....
... As for George Bush he is a politician and let me tell you something my dear brother... politicians have no religion... all of them are the same .... Politics is the "Art of making it possible".... remember that.
.... Jesus did not teach us to invade, kill and make those who have homes homeless.... no sir he did not... Jesus changed the world with his Love not with weapons.
I'm sorry If I offened anyone, I assure you no offense was intended.

May God Almighty help each one to be true disciples of Jesus Christ Lord and Saviour.
One has to receive Jesus Christ Son of God as the Lord and Saviour in his life and he will gift you eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven
Mahatma Gandhi of India considered Jesus one of his main teachers and inspirations for Nonviolent Resistance, saying "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
May God help each one of us on this earth to be like Christ Jesus
Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all.
Jhn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Hbr 13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
Hbr 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Perhaps you would need scripture to determine you opinion on whether or not George W. is a Christian? What's you text?
I have a text for you:
Romans 14:4
Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
