I find it hard to come up with adequate differential / definitions that show a clear distinction between the two .... How would you define the difference ? Do you mean organised religion versus personal spirituality ? There is also personalised relgion and organised spirituality. . . . I think this section is combined precisely because it relates to "beliefs" .... Unless a clear understanding of the distinction is proposed and agreed, then I don't see the benefit... questions will appear in both where the asker is not sure of the distinction. Perhaps instead, the category of Religion and spirituality should have sub-sections, listing known religions/spiritual belief systems (of which I'm sure there are tonnes!) and also a general section... ?

It depends on what kind of spirituality you mean!
If you mean God's Spirit, then yes I would like a separate section.

Segregation is what this sounds like.
If we can't all be stirred together in a wonderful melting pot of opinions, then what is the point of our being here?
How will we ever learn anything about the other points of view if we close ourselves off from them?
The purpose of this forum is to learn. Separate the members and we learn nothing. Each person here is a valued member of the community.

Why? So people can ask religious questions with the cop out that they are spiritual, not religious?

how very christian like to exclude others based on nothing more than ignorance & fear of discovering you have been wrong about your faith since the get-go.
