1 Cor.1:10 says: "10 Now I exhort YOU, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that YOU should all speak in agreement, and that there should not be divisions among YOU, but that YOU may be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought."
This verse shows that all TRUE Christians believe the SAME THING.
Under divine inspiration Paul listed “divisions” and “sects” among “the works of the flesh.” He wrote: “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects . . . Those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.” Galatians 5:19-21.
Since those who cause “divisions” and “sects” “will not inherit God’s kingdom,” they cannot be tolerated within the true Christian congregation.
True Christians reject the trinity. There is NO Bible verse that says that the Father, Son, and the holy spirit are co-equal, co-eternal, and almighty and that they make up one God. The trinity is based on the Catholic Athanasian Creed, not on the Bible.

As I understand it, a Christian is a Christian because they trust in God through Jesus Christ. The Bible is the source for what is approved by God, it's just the interpretation of what it says that gets people caught in disagreement.
As I understand it, a christian will point to Jesus when it comes to how salvation is gained, and who to turn to for a connection to God. There is no other Mediator between God and man than Jesus Christ.
Of course the Roman Catholics come to mind when disagreement to that happens. They would say that it's okay to pray to saints and Mary. But if scripture is the sole authority that Christians must derive their information from ( which is not actually true, for the Spirit of God comes into play) , then we have disagreement between scripture and what the traditions of the Roman Catholics say. For they lean upon another source for their guidance to truth-- i.e. the pope.
So because there is a difference on that part of being a Christian, there is disagreement. The disagreement comes from the matter of a source where confidence in authority is placed.

A personal relationship with Jesus is the answer.Let Jesus change you not a preacher or the bible.John 5 v 39-40.I don't worship the bible i worship Jesus.I don't follow others.I love everyone and forgive everyone.I am not good only God is good.Only because of Jesus does God accept me.Obey the Holy Spirit as best as you can.Be humble. And Love Jesus first.Love means don't hurt anyone no matter what.Fight satan in the spiritual realm with the Holy Spirit doing the work. Not the person.

Personally i don't believe that those who don't believe the trinity or remove parts of the bible are Christians they are Jehovah's Witnesses and Catholics...Zing. The major point is God sent Jesus to die for man's sins and then rose again three day's later

The major points are believing Jesus is the Son of God, and that he was crucified and died and was bodily resurrected, and that we can receive his Spirit and live according to his teachings. There is no Trinity; the Bible does not say "God in three persons," not one single time. The Bible does say "God was manifest in the flesh," I Timothy 3;16. Also read John 14:9 and Colossians 2:9-10.

If you belive in Christ you can call yourself Christian...Christianity is a religion based on the life and teaching of Jesus from Nazareth as presented in the New Testament. The bible doesn't make you Christian, Muslims-it doesn't matter if they call it Coran.

...who said you must become a "Christian"... Gods Word never makes that demand.... I'm a "believer", not a Christian.
Read... Romans, Chapter. 1 vs.16... read the entire Chapter.
(Quite enlightening)....
