The Bible says to pray without ceasing. I've managed that only once. I was working in an office packaging books for a Mission and yet, I was in a state of prayer and worship the whole time. I didn't lose concentration in what I was doing, no-one got the wrong order (I think that was the only day, it didn't happen lol) and yet, I was able to cogitate on the wonder of God.

It is possible to live like that. I think if we could, it would be as close to Heaven (nirvana) as we can reach on this world.

Who says we don't? Granted, my car has somehow managed to become my "prayin place", on my way from point a to point be, it's a private area where I can be alone to talk to the Creator, and if that is the only time I have available, then so be it, as long as I have time somewhere along the line. But then again, it doesn't take that much as you go about your day, to take a breath, and say a silent "thank you", or ask for someone you know who needs help to be watched over, or anything like that. We can all have time for a quick prayer, even if it is the quiet space between breaths. It doesn't need to be anything fancy or involved that you need an hour for, if you don't have that sort of time, just take a moment when you can to acknowledge....

Most of us search for a time for prayer and unfortunately are so busy that in the end we find no time at all. A prayer does not need any philosophic dissertation or elaborate arrangement. One has just in loving faith to express his inner urge in the simplest words possible.

A true prayer needs no particular time and place. We have to sit quietly in the temple of the body, at the seat of the soul, and to gaze in between the eyebrows and mentally repeat whatever charged words have been given to us by the Master. That is more than enough of a prayer. But the trouble with us is that we do not know how to pray. We may in a case like this simply ask, "0 Lord! teach us how to pray." In this respect, we can be guided by the specimen prayers given by the various Masters.

Also note this:
NO TIME
I knelt to pray but not for long,
had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.

So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.

All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.

No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.

I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"

Due to the population growth, the modernisation & etc make the man a machine: He start his journey to the work, working enironment, return to home, family affairs, freindhip, good and bad events in him, with his freinds and relatives make him to do all with tightest schedule: In this modern world we are unable to decide which to leave & which to do: Then where is the time for prayer and thinking.

Praying is a delusional activity. It does not achieve anything. Facing reality and acting to change things gets the world moving. With the spread of education, in most modern civilized countries delusional mental disorders are regressing. So more and more people act instead of wasting time praying.

If you have time to type a question here, you have time for prayer.

Who says that we don't? You can pray right now, you can pray anytime. Don't wait until you are at church, or going to bed, or when somebody is dying. Talk to God eveyday and get to know Him. He is your Father and your friend!
