I know that there are many types of filter paper for lab uses. But anyone know any sites that shows which is used for what purpose. Cos there are so many like GB 100R etc which I don't what's the difference. Thanks

Glass fiber filters, such as GB 100R, are designed to filter cells and parts thereof as well as precipitated proteins. "Qualitative" paper filters are for the filtration of chemicals and gelatinous and coarse precipitates. "Quantitative" paper filters are for the filtration of coarse, fine, and gelatinous precipitates.
