Christian means Christ- like. That's how they're supposed to act. We are to emulate the actions of our Savior. Love, kindness and forgiveness. We are suppose to tell others about the kingdom and what Christ has done for us.

Yikes! There's what I expect, and what I get. Those are two different things.

I believe:
1) That a Christian is a Christian because they trust in God through Jesus Christ.

2) A Christian can otherwise act like anyone else. I have no other expectations. If they are being rude, or they cuss, or they flip somebody off, I am not surprised.

3) A Christian is supposed to know what the Gospel is, not that they are preachers, but they know what the Gospel is. I do not find that here on this site too often. So that shocks me.

As a human being I expect anyone regardless of their religion to treat me with the same respect I give them. I don't mind people quoting texts from their religion, I quote phrases from my favorite book all the time too...I just don't care much for anyone who tries to cram their views down my throat. It goes along with the whole respect thing.

I think anyone who is very religious should have a positive effect on those around them, and be happy themselves. So I guess most people expect general kindness and compassion.

That excludes religious fanatics like the homophobic, and those terrorist guys. Yeah,I'm bitter. -.-' I shouldn't be though, they're practically brainwashed aren't they?

Do the right thing. If you claim to be christian, people watch closely at your actions. If your not sure what the right thing is pray and ask. If it's a split second decision, do the best you can with it, but decide with you heart, not your wants, and personal needs or gain.

Christ like. We should live our life pleasing to God. When He saved me, He changed me. He put that desire in my heart to follow Him. We should have love in our heart for others, and live our life seprate from this world. We should pray, read the bible, go to church, and tell others about Jesus. Christians should act different, dress different, and talk different.I put my Faith, and trust in the Lord. Jesus never fails!

They are supposed to do the right thing, just like members of other religions are supposed to do what's right. Unfortunately the religions have created different variations of righteousness.
