Our Scottish Fold female kitten (now @ 8 mos. old) has been a quite concerning firstly in her earlier times she weed and pooed on our beds and sofas. Thankfully that has stopped. Now she takes to our roof top potted plants and lies and sleeps in the dirt, even in the pouring rains any suggestions to stop her from this are appreciated.

Get some special cat-grass seed at a pet store and plant it in an indoor planter. Then she can nibble on the grasses safely and pretend that she's a tiger by lying in it. Cats can be odd quirky creatures and they just get some habits which are hard to break. Luckily, this habit of lying in the plants sounds relatively harmless as long as the plants aren't poisonous to cats. If you have an indoor planter just for her then she won't have to get all muddy outside.

First, reintroduce your kitten to the kitty litter and try different litters. Cats can be very particular. As for the plants, top the dirt with foil wrap. She won't like to lay on that. Last, you may want to have her checked out with your vet just in case her problem with not using the litter is medical.

Dear kenlipof***

....firstly, what type of plants are growing up on the rooftop because it is definately attracting your "puddy-cat", and secondly he obviously feels very secure on the rooftop.. Nobody to worry him or hurt him.

You have a kitty full of charm and character, and the only way to stop kitty is to keep your kitten inside only!!!

Try bringing those plants to where you want kitty to be!!! Good luck!!!
