every time I download pictures on my PC from my memory card and then put card back in camera it wont let me take pictures until I format card and erase whole card. Today I put on some pictrues and it only loaded 30 out of 79 and said the rest were damaged--when I know they are not. so I am missing 50 pictures from my sons 4th b-day and cant even look at them on camera---ANY help would be GREAT--it is a SD IMPACT 1GB and I have a Kodak Easyshare 5MP and I have had a 1GB card in here before this one

is there ANY possible way to retrieve these pictures from this card?

Your card reformat does not sound normal. If you could borrow another card just for a test and see if the problem goes away, you'd know the card is the issue.

go to yahoo search
type photo rescue
when you get your pictures
you should get a new card
