This may need extreme analysis but I'm wanting to know about people and their aggressive behaviour. My friend and I are nurses and we work in a very stressful unit. She is one of the main charge nurses at night. I have seen her in situations where everything is okay and then someone says or does something to piss her off. Believe me, you can't even look at her when she gets like this. This happens all the time at work and away from work. One night she brought her dog to a bar and someone complained. She totally went ballistic and told off the patron and the owner of the bar. You can't reason or disagree with her when she gets in these moods. What do you think causes this aggression? Also, she is very non-committal to things regarding her health like quitting smoking, eating right and exercising. What are your thoughts. Seriously please?

We're all inclined to think no one should criticize our behavior...It's kind of comfortable to think you're always right...
As you had written your friend has a very stressful job...It's easy to understand she goes nuts sometimes, if I had to work
in hospital with patients I'd certainly go crazy...I believe she needs to relax, she needs to find a mean of relaxation, that works, and that ain't drinking, going to local pub, smoking too
much...But of course, it's hard to make any useful advice...
I'd go for some activities where peaceful places in nature are involved, like hiking, hill walking, cycling, maybe fishing...

She might be suffering some sort of anxiety disorder, or other mental disorder. She seems mad at the world and quite possibly nothing will make her happy. Her life is not what she wants it to be, and has probrably experienced alot of pain in her past that keeps her harboring anger that she hasn't dealt with ever. I am a student..lol...and ironically we just finished the section on psychological orders, and after reviewing some things...this may be going out on a limb but she could be in the latter stages of depression (manic depressive) they can be really aggressive, and you can't tell them nuuuuthin!! Sorry hun that's all i got, hope it helps a little.

Very irritable indeed, isn't she? She must be under a lot of stress... sounds like she is nearing a serious nervous breakdown. Does she sleep well? Insomnia can make you very irritable. She needs to consult a professional... it might just be that she needs to sleep.... or it could be something worst.

She might be hurting deep, deep, deep down inside, possibly embaressed too about something that may have happened, and doesn't want anyone to know . She might not know how to deal with it, to help herself. Somehting's really bothering her.
