I'm a 19 yr old girl who grew up with the idea that a real man is someone who never shows emotions,always takes charge,has no romantic or soft side,never reveals a weakness or vulnerability,is able to handle anything life throws at him on his own and is only interested in sex.What does being a real man mean to you?

Ok education time!!!! A real man is someone who is capable of loving and caring for his woman and his family. A kind caring, understanding person who you share your innermost secrets. Your best friend and also your soulmate. One who is capable of laughing as well as crying. Anything else is just a cold body next to u in bed. This is called existing. Finding your soulmate is when you really start to live.

Sorry, but that's a load. A man of that discription is only half a man in my opinion. All the characteristics that he shouldn't have are what would make him a man. I'm not saying he's a little mommie's boy but a combination of all those attributes are what makes up his personality. Sex is fine but what about making love?. If that's all that he thinks about then he's using the wrong head.

Though your views are right,but it takes more than what you think.Man usually put some restriction in them.For intances my friend has swear not to have sex untill his marriage day.maybe you have that kind of man for date.keep holding on things may change for you.Goodluck.
