There is no barrier between the Slave and Allah. Forgiveness only must be asked from ALLAH....and directly from Him with conditions of repentance as follow:

1 – Giving up the sin immediately.

2 – Regretting what has happened in the past.

3 – Resolving not to go back to it.

4 – Making amends to those whom you have wronged, or asking for their forgiveness.

According to Buddhism, there are no such thing as original sin. However, for sins you had made, you will need to repent for it but to get rid of it, you will have to accept the repercussion yourself.

For example, when you lie to others, and others bought your lies. Depending on how big is the lie and the impact, you will bring to yourself in the future a time where you believed a lie with equivalent impact. It is Buddhist idea that you reap what you sow.

Realize that you are a sinner, pray to God to forgive you and accept the gift of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Then you must devote yourself to God's will. There are far too many Christians, in my humble opinion - me included, who have claimed God's grace but were not willing to change very much. I think we owe that to God for His grace in salvation, call me crazy...

To get rid of sin is not so easy. I believe that it is a lengthy process, maybe lifelong, to continually try and improve ourselves as Christians. I think we Christians get a bad rap, deservedly, because we don't always walk the walk.

Sin is an odd concept (to me anyway) but if you mean how do we reduce bad behavior and bad consequences the answer is simple:
1)Extend to all beings Metta (loving kindness not carnal love)
2)Extend to all beings compassion (not pity)
3)Extend to all beings sympathetic joy (the opposite of jealousy)
4)Extend to all beings equanimity (the lack of ill will)

To simplify further "Do less bad, do more good, purify your mind" (Transltion of the Buddha's words)

Dear Friend,

We aill all be sinful by nature, and fall way short of Gods requirements until Jesus returns and puts all of our mistsakes right.

Romans 3:Righteousness Through Faith
21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement,[i] through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

God Bless

Repent, ask for forgiveness, and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. It's through Him that we are saved and by the Grace of God that we are forgiven.
