Yes to make sure all the parts fit right. ;-)

And before anyone jumps the gun, yeah I was one of those people who waited until marriage....I found out the hard way that it is NOT a good idea. You can very well end up with someone who isn't sexually compatible. I am divorced now.

If you are compatible with the right person, sure, provided you use birth control if you don't want a child and use protective measures to avoid spreading disease. In my opinion Western society both overvalues sex by attaching it to marriage and making it a thing of conquest, and undervalues it by disallowing or disagreeing with experimentation and sexual expression. Any form of consensual sex with an adult human being isn't a sin; being sexually active is no better or worse than being sexually inactive. We shouldn't be as frightened of sex as we are. We miss out on a vital part of life by doing so.

I think it's fine. But if you do - because NO birth control is 100% effective - you should be prepared to have a baby, kill a baby or give a baby away. And before you have sex (before marriage) it's important to talk to your sex partner about which of the three you'll be choosing IF the woman gets pregnant. Raise it, kill it or give it away. Those will be your choices.

Kind of takes a lot fo the fun and romance out of it - huh.

Yes, how else you gonna know if your parts fit good. Sure would suck if you find out after you are married that things don't fit that well, making sex not as fun as it should be.
