Dance! I do a type of partner dancing called "Ceroc" and in a single 2.5 hour lesson, we take 13,000 steps (I wore a pedometer to a week of classes and took an average).
The Heart Foundation recommends a daily workout of at least 10,000 steps a day... so a single dance lesson will exceed your daily requirement for exercise, and anything else you do during the day is a bonus.
Dancing is loads of fun, and partner dancing is a great way to meet people (particularly for singles, wink wink). I myself met my current girlfriend at dancing, and we've now been going out for a year. :)

Join the spinning class, tons of fun, intense, dynamic exercise!!
Join a workouts groups or Hire a trainer.
MOTIVATION is the key!!!
Eat healthy. Finally, have a look at your diet; if you are grabbing a handful of nuts while watching the game or have been knocking back an extra beer after work lately, these will all add up and slow your progress. When your diet is on track, your efforts in the gym will be much more noticeable.

um....anything that involves physical activity....gardening, yard work, swimming, walking (its better with a buddy), yoga, housework....if you don't think that physical activity is fun...then perhaps you don't actually want to lose weight! I have been there before. I can think of a million things that I could do during the day to lose weight....but none of them seemed fun. So, I didn't lose weight. What are you looking for? fun?? or weight-loss?? that is the real question!! I hate running and jogging...I agree that it is boring. But, I run 2 miles everyday after work...it just becomes habit.

Find a physical activity that you enjoy and do that instead of exercising. The minute exercising becomes work, it ceases to be fun.

How about Roller Skating at a roller rink? What about swimming? Have you considered mall walking where you join the groups of people who walk around the malls before the stores usually open.

"Exercise" and "fun." Those two words don't work well together in a sentence. Hahaha... doesn't seem like it anyway, does it? I have a problem with that too. The one thing that works for me is planting the treadmill right in front of the TV. Maybe that'll do it for you.

Exercise in general is a drag, so I'm not sure what to tell you. What I do is plan what I'm going to do, then try to watch television while I do it. But, most times that doesn't work. I tend to stop and watch television instead.

Get one of them there pilates exercise balls but be careful to not roll off of it. Seriously. I found the gazelle sprintmaster was pretty easy and fun to use. Again, practice caution until you get your balance figured out. Good luck.

Try out a few sports and see which one that is fun to you. Just doing that will help considerably.

Swimming.
And I suspect at one point you're going to have to give something a try. We can't always just have fun in life. Sometimes you just have to do what it takes, and the fun happens along the way.
