i asked this girl i really really like to prom but she said she doesn't wanna go this year (she's a sophomore while im a junior, she wants to go when her class goes) so im thinking that she is not going with me not because of me but because she wants to go when it's her year. so does this means i can still ask her to the movies or something? i really hope so, she was really nice to me when i asked her to prom and i think that she might go with me on a date. but who knows, ineed some help here.

i got asked to prom as a sophmore too and i said no, the reason was that i didnt know alot of people from the older grade, so i was scared. plus i didnt have any money for a dress. BUT you should totally ask her to the movies! go see Blades of glory it is perfect for a first date!

Ask her to the movies.
It's the only way you'll ever know.
Don't be specific.
Ask "would you like to go to the movies sometime...?"
If she turns you down, move on. She's being nice but thinks of you as a friend. If she's interested you might have a chance.

yes. it would be totally fine for you to ask her to the movies.
And she doesn't want to go to prom with you, probably bcuz she wouldn't know anyone there and would feel out of place/like she didn't belong there.
