To the people who chose Europeans, I'm assuming that you are referring to higher income European countries, right? Because I believe that most of the Eastern European countries are even poorer than Mexico. The fact that they aren't that many of them its because of the geographical location. If Romania happens to be either South or North of the US, you'll see the huge flow of illegal Romanians crossing the border the same way as the Mexicans are doing it now. I really don't have any preference for any ethnicity or nationality as long as they are hard workers, good people, and respect all the different cultures that exist in the US. And I can't believe that people will get "thumbs up" for insulting Mexicans. This means that there's a lot of coward racists out there that can't show their real face and tell the world that they are just some racist pigs.

I prefer European immigrants. The biggest reason I do is because Mexicans come from a third world country. The drawback to that is the fact that they're raised to steal, they have no respect, and they do what they want when they want and get away with it. People from third world countries that migrate to a financially stable country don't mix well at all. Most European countries are in the same financial status as the U.S. and therefore are more accustomed to our way of life. They're also willing to learn English, unlike Mexican immigrants.

Legal ones who want to give up their allegiance to their former country and adopt ours. That they learn our language and respect our laws, many immigrants do. Mexicans have an inordinate amount who don't

Legal immigrants! Right now, though, since we have so many lawbreakers in this country today, I prefer NONE! At least until we get control of our borders and the lawbreakers.

i prefer legal immigrants who obey our laws and respect our nation our culture our values our way of life and our language and who are here to become good law abiding citizens who can read and write the english language and even if their point of view is not the same like religon holidays or dietary differences they respect and realize that is my right as an american citizen and they have no right to challenge or change that.if they think differently and dont accept that they dont need to come to my country and if they are already here they can go back to wherever they came from period! its plain and simple.
