Let him know that there are no get rich quick jobs out there, they will just take your money and run. I hope that you can get him to stop wasting his money on this kind of stuff, he will never see any return from it.

Nah nah nah. Your going at it all wrong. Instead of trying to force him to quit, you gotta make him realize that he's performing a thing called "escalation of commitment to a losing course of action". this means he's gotta realize that what he's doing is continuing on something that just won't work.

Start it off with asking him whether he's gotten any real success, whether he's made any money. If the answer is no, ask him does he have any better ideas. Creative, strategic marketing ideas to sell his product. If the answer is still no, that's when you ask him if it's really worth him to invest all his time into a losing game.

In my opinion, I think the reason why he keeps continuing on with this course of action is two things. Either one, he knows (or atleast sub-consciously) that no one believes him, which pushes him harder to keep trying. Or he thinks he believes there's something in this product that will strike him rich.

don't force him to quit. it will only push him to keep at it.

Ask him to show you his income from selling this product. He must have to keep sales records for tax purposes. If he has spent his last dollar on this"stuff" and has been selling it for years what does that tell you. Tell him to get a job.

Tell him to try another hobby. Obv if he has no luck selling it and he only sold it to his dad, he hasnt got the skills to sell it to make millions.

Now he has a son, tell him to get his priorities straight!!

Remind him about the Bible verse, 'It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven'
