My girlfriend and I go to different schools, at this last weekend I played her school in the playoffs, with a state title birth on the line. Her brother plays for the other school, and we have never really got along. He kept htting me the entire game, and with about 3 minutes left and the game in hand I decided to give him some payback. I checked him and his head snapped back into the boards. He was carried out on a strecher. His season end just like his teams did. I was so excited to be in the state tournament, but I lost all my joy later that night when my girlfriend dumped me becuase I hit her brother. Who is wrong me or her?

hey first of all, congrats on making that state tournament..

score a goal in the finals for me, and wear your gf's brother's number in the title game.

then when they name you the mvp of the game, tell everyone how you dedicated this game to her brother, i am sure she will be in the stands. she will rush down on the ice to take you back..that is when you rip off the jersey and tell her that you two are through!!

no one dumps abe simpson!!

Your girlfriend is wrong I don't no if that makes you feel any better I think it should because as I see it you did nothing wrong and you did what any other player would of done in your shoes you nailed the sucker before he had the chance to do it to you again case closed.

Long term relationships never work out anyways. You just ended it sooner. Go out to a party and have fun. If she is going to get angry at you for doing something her brother did first then you shouldn't want to be with her.

Tell her to go out with her brother if she cares about him that much and then they can have happy life together in Alabama.

Family comes first before anything else...

that was entirely your fault... you could have just shoved him but not hurt him...

it goes to show you got give a little bit of self control especially if your girls involved...

better luck next time or you could ask for forgiveness in front of her entire family (but this would be suicide)...

Your choice...

IN a way neither one of you is right. You should have showed more self control, and not have injured him so badly, and she should understand that her brother was continually provoking you so you eventually just had to get him back.

Your wrong! I cant believe you did that to her bro! His hits are pretty much harmless and he was jealous of losing his sister to another guy! She obviously cared for her bro. Shes just trying to get dignity back to her brother.

She needs to realize it's hockey, and rough play is expected.

Then again, it is family.

Don't play "Who's Fault Is It?" Just move on.

Her, but you'll not get her to realize it. If she doesn't now, think of all the mess the future could hold. You may want to shop around. You're young.

You. I know he deserved it but if you hit a girls brother, she's going to dump you.
