Okey! Here is the deal! There are too many cops out there giving SPEEDING tickets and meanwhile Gangs, Killers or Sexual minors CrazY M*F out there! Explain to me! Is it that our cops are not trained to shoot the RIGHT guy or Just GIVING TICKETS?
Its sad to see " Have you seen me?" signs all over! and Crazy MF that killed little Jessica! or a bulled killing someone from nowhere! WHAT CAN WE DO? Can it get better?

"Butterflyangel" Hmmmm, names says it all.
First of all, if I stop writing tickets for speeding, you will continue to speed. Then I have answer the question about why there are so many traffic accident deaths, why aren't the police enforcing traffic laws??
Second, if you want child molesters off the streets, you need laws that will do that. Check your state's laws. Are they tough enough, probably not. YOU elect the lazy bastards to office that won't pass tough laws. Get on their back, not mine.
Finally, Can it get better? Sure, when folks stop moaning about how bad it is on a web site and go out and join an advocacy group to pass the laws, to clean up a neighborhood, to watch out for each other, and, finally, to slow down on the streets, so I have more time to look for that murdering rapist gang banger.

I'm with BarB on this one! First of all, it is the State Troopers job to be out on the highways checking for speeders etc. Secondly, Police are trained to shoot the right person, and if you do break a traffic law and they are out "patrolling" then they will pull you over! It is citizens that give a bad rap to police and other law enforcement agencies!!
You said it all OLD FUZZ!! AMEN TO THAT! BE SAFE!

How about this - STOP SPEEDING.
If the morons behind the wheel would just obey the traffic laws and not act like they own the dam road, we wouldn't need to tie up as many police officers on traffic patrol.
It's always the duck that quacks the loudest who complains the most about the noise.....

First, I'm guessing you didn't know that the Washington D.C. sniper (2004, I think) was caught during a routine traffic check...
Second, here's what WE can do: SLOW DOWN.
Third, here's what YOU can do: pay the ticket; learn the lesson.

yeah, they are cracking down more on speeders than they are on other crimes.
I wish they'd stop making me nervous on the road. When I see troopers out checking speeds, it makes me nervous thinking they are likely to go after me.
They should be more focused on keeping the crime down, not slowing the drivers down.

most police stations have to meet a certain quota pretaining to the amount of tickets they give out mostly every month
