I once lost a cat to old age (she was 19) and it was sad, but I understood.
An unexpected death of a pet must be doubly hard.
Pets are a special gift; very few beings you can love unconditionally and to love you unconditionally.
I am sorry for your loss, and hope you will feel better soon!

I had lost two cats in a space of a month of each other 2 years ago. it is still hard to believe they are gone. the one cat I had was 16 and all his organs were failing and i forced to put him down so he wouldn't suffer. I had other cats that died unexpectedly very hard to take. I'm sorry about your lost. remember he is always with you.

Oh! Yes I cried so much when my sweet little Gracie died. I had her for 16 years. She was so sweet and loving one of the best cats I ever had. I have a very sweet cat named Mia now and I love her allot. She is like Gracie in some ways yet different in other ways.

I know how you feel. I had to put my 2 yr. old male tabby to sleep this past July because all of a sudden came down with kidney failure that my former vet neglected to treat. needless to say that vet doesn't touch my pets anymore. I was soooo heartbroken! I still have his sister though (who's thankfully healthy and is pushing 3 now) so she made me feel a little better at times. I finally decided to adopt a small tabby kitten from my local SPCA a few months ago. he's a total spazz LOL!!! my cat that died was named Tiger so I named my new kitty T.J. after my first kitty. T.J. didn't take Tiger's place but he's just a newer addition because I was terribly upset about putting him down. Good Luck though! HIH!! I'm truely sorry!

We are always mourning the loss of our beloved pet-friends, no matter when they have passed on. There is a wonderful (FREE) website filled with much love and wonderful people who will share your grief, and it's called "In Memory of Pets" (See website below). You can express your feelings and thoughts no matter when you experienced your loss. I highly recommend it to one and all!

I lost my beloved Angel, my 4-yr-old black male cat last June, and still feel his loss today. With all my sympathies and prayers to you... "WyoMugs"

I lost my dog, a beagle, about 6 months ago and honestly, I still carry the pain of his loss. I could not hold my tears back when I had to put him to sleep (he was 12 years old with a complete kidney failure), I cried like a small boy and what was strange, was that the veterinarian also cried with me. Buddy, was a lovable dog.

You poor girl..............did u by some chance give it any recalled food. I feel so bad for you. I am a cat lover myself. I did have a cat get an unexpected infection inside, we didnt know until he was not keeping food down, and took him to the vet. The next day, my baby was gone. I really do feel for you, and I hope things get better. He/She is in a better place now though if it was suffering inside.

I know how you feel, I accidentally ran over my cat Jerry on January 24th, when I came home from work I backed into my drive way and I saw him come off of the porch in my rearview, and I said to myself watch out Jerry so I dont accidentally run over you. I slowly backed up because he did this every morning but that morning he didnt get out of the way. I got out of my vehicle and called for him and he didnt come and I turned around and saw his tail behind the tire. I started crying and tried to call my husband to come home and bury him and I couldnt get ahold of him, so I got an old sheet and put my back to my vehicle and backed up to the tire and put the blanket on him without looking, because I know it was bad. So I got him all covered up and picked him up and buried him beside my other cat I ironically lost the year before on February 24 from a dog attack. Its hard to loose pets, today was the 1 year anniversary of the death of our family dog Sadie who died of cancer. She was 15. Its hard but time does heal. So sorry..
