Hiya C.C,
Avoid Clearasil, that three day thing is absolute rubbish, i tried it is dryed my face out so much and brought out more spots. I hav'nt tried the Clean and Clear one that might be good, but not sure.
The one that worked for my was Avon (Immediate Responce Blemish Treatment), it worked very quickly and got rid of most spots, i would reccomend using this with a good face scrub and after using a antibactirial concealer. This works fantasticly, i am now spot free! xox
Good Luck

There's a great homeopathic remedy by Nelsons-
it has tea tree oil, caledula and sulfur- doesn't burn at all and works very quickly! Also hydrogen peroxide can work in a pinch.
Long term, you need both an exfoliant (such as salicylic acid) AND a disinfectant (such as Benzoyl Peroxide or Tea Tree Oil). Using just one (despite what the cosmetic companies say) will not work because they work together. Try to avoid products that contain fragrance or alcohol- the irritation the cause make your acne worse! Generally, start gentle and be patient. I had pretty good luck with Paula's Choice, but all skin is different.

NATURAL ACNE PROTOCOL
1/ Never, ever touch your face.
2/ Use 3 facecloths to wash your face, one to soap on, one to soap off with very hot water, one to rinse off with ice cold water, in that order, once a day.
3/ If you are under 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A once a day with a full meal
4/ If you are over 18 take 5,000 IU of vitamin A twice a day with a full meal.
Do not get pregnant while taking vitamin A. Do not take any more, like Accutane, it will stop you growing.
5/ Never, ever. pick, squeeze or pop your spot. Read number 1 again.
6/ Do this for 90 days.
7/ Invest in a brand new pillow and 2 new or more pillow cases to double bag' your pillow. HOT wash every couple of days.

A bit of advice given to me as a teenager, a bit of science as I am studying allergic reactions and vitamin A is a part of that. A bit of research: I sat in a lecture at the back and watched the acne prone pick at their faces, those with the worse acne touched their faces 32 times in an hour, the clearest complexions didn't touch their faces even once. I have circumstantial evidence that acne is the result of dermatophyte transfer from hands to face...where it does not get washed off and is well fed by hormones, sweat a
nd oil...just a hypothesis... But it would explain why vitamin A is so effective as vitamin causes skin to remove dermatophytes.
The secret is never to touch the spots
Tips on how to treat acne and achieve perfect clear skin in as little as 7 days?

Acne is caused by hormones in your body. Best bet is to got o your doctor and get an acne spot treatment gel. If its a pimple try to stop it before it comes! Don't touch it. Apply an icecube to cut down swelling. Then apply a hot towel to open up the pores. Clean with an antibactierial soap. If it hurts and is throbbing i find crushed tylenol works or even a dap of toothpaste with baking soda to dry the sucker out.

raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar
to open the pores and loosen dirt and grease from your face turn off the heat from a pan of distilled water, add 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar to a quart of the hot water. drape a towel over the pan and your head to steam clean your pores. take a cotton ball, dip in vinegar and pat over skin to remove loosened dirt. repeat 2 more times. then spray or dab on
chilled vinegar and equal part of distilled water to close your pores and tone your skin. do twice weekly, also can use the chilled vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily.
it is amazing ....
i also drink the vinegar, 1-2 tablespoons in water with honey in the morning..and i use the vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily..
raw unpasturized apple cider vinegar..
the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht...
Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!
Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."
to drink, add to water and honey, or to apple juice.
you can get the vinegar at the health food store, or in some super markets.

there's a natural cosmetic company called Origins, and they make a product called "Spot Remover." it's a teeny little bottle that packs a big punch. i've used it on brides. i've used it on girls before prom. get it. love it. if your blemish is cystic, you'll need to apply it more frequently throughout the day, but if it's a regular old zit, after one application you can kiss it goodbye.
