I am visiting next week to look at some colleges (namely, Harvard, MIT, Yale, Princeton, UPenn). If you live in or near those areas, then what is the weather like right now and what are people wearing?

I checked weather reports online, and they say around 40-50 degrees with lots of rain for next week, but if you have any specific advice on what kind of clothes to bring, please answer!

I'd prefer that you read the details of my questions before jumping to answer. Yes, of course, I know what weather.com is, but I was looking for specific responses of people living in those areas.

Today is 55 degrees and cloudy in NY. By the end of the week it's supposed to be in the low 40s and rainy.

Defintiely bring some warm clothes, and you might want to layer (t-shirt,sweatshirt, rain jacket) since lately it's been chilly here in the mornings but by the midafternoon a long-sleeved Tshirt is fine - a jacket is almost too much - unless you're doing a significant amount of walking outside. An insulated raincoat or something like that would be good also. Today was *supposed* to be near 70 and mostly sunny. The weathermen LIE like rugs!!!

All you have to do is type www.weather.com or type weather in Boston or whatever city you want to know about. Or you can do ten day forecast for ____________

So much is online. You can decide what to wear when you see the forecast.
