Did you ever think to read the Gospels?
Matthew, Mark and Luke are called the Synoptic Gospels, because they follow basically the same sequence of events, each with their own variations.
John's Gospel is actually the only one that expands through 3 years of ministry. In the Synoptics, there is an introduction into Jesus' ministry when He is baptized by John and tempted in the wilderness, but then the narrative jumps ahead to the last year of His earthly ministry.

The bible is full of historical facts that scientists and scholars have find to be reliable over and over again. For decades people have challenged the authenticities of the historical facts in the Bible, only to find them true.

Here is a website that should be helpful in your research.
