"believers dont believe in evolution and science"
Actually I believe in evolution within a species and I believe in the scientific method of learning about the world around us and how to operate in it more wisely.
I don't believe in the theory of macro-evolution that doesn't pass the standards of the scientific method and that is basically a huge house of cards with no way to test or prove it's presuppositions.
Scientific method is a body of techniques for investigating phenomena and acquiring new knowledge, as well as for correcting and integrating previous knowledge. It is based on gathering observable, empirical, measurable evidence, subject to specific principles of reasoning.
There is no evidence either in the laboratory or in the fossil record that a fish can turn into a mammal via an amphibian and then a reptile. There is no evidence that random mutations can add useful information to DNA. Mutations can only change information that is already present and in most cases the change is harmful.
The principle of natural selection whereby a species can develop different characteristics over time that make it more competative in a changing environment mitigate against an animal going around with "half-evolved" non-functioning body parts that would be required for a species to become a totally different species. Either an eye can see or it can't. Either a limb can function or it can't. Having a half formed body part doesn't increase the odds of an animal surviving to produce offspring that then have a 3/4 formed body part.

Christians believe in science. We believe GOD created science and that He gives the gifts of scientific knowledge to who He wishes. Christianity only opposes science when science produces THEORIES that we believe are not true, both scientifically and based on the Bible.

Christians do believe in evolution, but we also believe that the evolution theory is a theory.
We believe in the Bible record. We are not against science. : )

Who said that believers don't believe in evolution or science? God created them both.

Could you be more general in you comments?
We do believe in science. We do NOT worship it.
Evolution is as yet a scientific theory. That means it is one step above the Cycling Universe Hypotheses, and not a matter of "Faith" to "believe" in.
