Oral sex can be one of the most misunderstood sexual events when it comes to STD transmission. Most dont' understand the risk associated with it.
I tell my patients there is a very real chance of receiving any STD your partner might have IF giving oral sex without such an item as, say, a "dental dam."
So do please be careful. YOu have been informed. Now, be safe. As per the kissing aspect, don't worry about it so much. There are a few items you would need to worry about. One being an oral form of herpes, and the other being mono. These are the most common forms of STD's to worry about when kissing.

yes hiv can be contrcated if you give oral sex. if you have any type of open wound on your lips or in your mouth(and sometimes you dont know you do) a cut gum, where your teeth has scratched the inside of your mouth, the person doesnt even have to have a full ejaculation or a women can just be wet for them to pass there infected semen to you...hiv is nothing to play against. i work in the medical field i have have stood bedside and watched people of all ages die from this disease from babies to grandparents and teenagers of the like... use your protection
