I am a believer, but nonbelievers live in denial for various reasons. And if you deny something, then you don't have to deal with it or it's consequences, BUT they will have to deal with it's consequences someday! Because just because you deny something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Asking this question will probably not go anywhere with them since they do not believe in it.

No. As a believer, aren't you scared that if YOU haven't got it right, you'll go to Hell? (And I'm not asking this to be hateful. Just think about it for a minute.)
There's THOUSANDS of gods spread throughout the worlds religions. You only believe in the one you believe in because that's what you were taught to believe in. That's it. You only believe in one more god than I do. So if there are 3000 gods that are believed in by somebody, somewhere, and only ONE of them's the right one, then you only have a 1 in 3000 better chance than I do of being right. Does that scare you?

I've already had my drinks tonight - that'll have to count for this one.

Doesn't it scare you as a believer that if you don't get right with the fact that there isn't any god, you will go to hell?

It's just as likely as what you believe. Face the facts.

I do not believe in god because i have no reason to. I believe in a god like thing, whatever it may be. But my concern is no what someone ive never met wants, its being what my heart knows as good. I think if any religion is about anything; its about living a good life of virtue and values.

So even in the end if i didn't believe at least i had a good life. Ill worry about the end when i get there.

I dont' beleive in hell. And how can I be afraid of what might happen if I don't get right with something I don't even believe exists?

I think christians are whacked because they've created this big heaven and hell thing in order to scare others so that they're easier to control.

ever read The Emperor's New Clothes.

If you believe in hell ( because some other human beings told you to) then it exists for you, because your own mind can create reality for yourself.

When we are doing the right thing, (help others, forgive, love) it should not happen because we are afraid of someone's punishment, but from our own devotion to make the world a better place..

I suppose if a person is a 'non-believer' he or she would be silly to be scared about something believed not to exist. SO although your question is sensible from a religious perspective (in that in order to effectively proselytise you probably want to be able to make people fear hell and believe in god), it probably makes little sense to someone who rejects all aspects of religion outright (including the concepts of god and hell).

Not a hateful answer, but doesn't it scare you that the methods you are using to try and help the non-believers are only pushing them further away?
I used to be like that. Believe me, it does more harm than good.

God does not exist and hell does not exist...get a life and quit telling everyone who does not believe what you do that they are going to hell.

cool, i guess ill get to meet my buddy again, satin is so cool with his whole "one-winged angel" thing

but seriously, have you ever thought of it? heaven and hell cant exist because they dont make any sense, if god really existed, and he was allmighty, and if he is so forgiving, he wouldnt care if you beleive in him or not.

Think! if God really loved you, he wouldnt send you to hell because you dont believe in his existance, if he did, then he is a stuck up narcistic fool that does not deserve his powers.

Heaven doesnt make sense, if you were in eternal bliss, then it would get boring, you dont know happiness if you dont know pain and suffering.
Also Hell doesnt make sense, if you suffer enough, you become numb to any pain or suffering. just like the people in the nazi concentration camps, eventually they suffered so much they just became completely numb, they couldnt feel anything, so suffering forever in eternal damnation is impossible.

WHAT IM ASKING YOU IS, HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT YOUR RELIGION AND HOW IT STACKS UP AGAINST THE OTHERS?!? WHAT MAKES YOURS BETTER??? IF YOU REALLY THINK ITS BETTER THEN EVERYTHING ELSE AND THAT EVERYONE IS SUPPOSED TO THINK YOUR WAY, THEN YOU ARE AN ELITIST AND A FOOL!!!

you have to accept that there are others, religion is like a business, and from what ive seen you have been hooked, looks like they are gonna make one hellava lot of money off of you and your "devoted worshiping of God"

your categorizing of "believers" and "non believers" is sickening have you ever thought that others can think differently??? think this, if there is a extremist muslim thinking about your situation the way you think about ours, welcome to his hell, ill see you there. he pities your foolishness for not believing in Mohammed and Alah, just like how you pity our not believing in God.

please think it over before you start assuming that everyone thinks the way you do, the world is very big, not everyone is "god friendly"

A loving God cannot truly condone eternal suffering of the soul, or else, how can He be good? Think about it. Hell would be eternal separation from God, I imagine, and that, in my opinion, sounds scary.
