I used a 1996 Camry 4 cylinder for business and put 305,000 miles on it with just recommended maintenance as stated in Toyota's owner's manual. It was still going strong but I was ready to upgrade to a 4-Runner that I leased for business. I only put 105,000 miles before the lease ran out but I wish I had bought it after all.
Recently I had a used Camry SE V-6, very fast, 2 door with 193,000 miles, never had a problem except for brakes and oil changes. Sold it because I got into real estate and needed a bigger 4 door.
Toyota's continue to be a good car that will last a very long time.

I don't own one personallly but I have read about one a lady owned a 1989 Carolla it had 889,000 miles on it never had any engine repairs just regular maintenance oil change tune ups plugs.
She said that she changed the transmission at 650,000 miles and rad at 700,000 miles now it is fairly well known that TOYOTA'S last a long time and are good to there owners.
Unlike the American crap that blows head gaskets at 50,000 miles.
In fact this car got on to the news and when TOYOTA heard about it they traded the car to the lady for a brand new one.
Not to shabby a deal she got a TOYOTA that out lasted 5 AMERICAN crappers and a new one to boot. now that's TOYOTA that's quality.
TOYOTA'S are rated better than Mercedes, Volvo, VW and many others. Why buy anything else?
If your AMERICAN crapper hit you hard in the pocket book where it hurts just think TOYOTA next time.
That's also why they are rapidly becoming number one in the world......Look out GMC.

My friend's car has over 200,000 miles on it. Cosmetically he didn't take care of it, but the engine runs great!
