Yes, and that is why we need to study Hos word. God has spoken to us. His words are here to stay. He will keep His promises. : )

GOD foretold all that would happen according to HIS plans. the big picture...did HE foretell princess dianas death...no...jfks death...no....though these deaths touched us and effected us in a big way...they were not events dealing with GODS overall plan as put forth in HIS Word. HE does speak of certain things in a general sense...but those things that HE specifically foretells or speaks about...they have most of them already happened, there is only a small portion yet to happen. mans days are numbered and as in the days of noah...the will be marrying and be given in marriage, eating, drinking and partying and not realizing that Judgement Day is at hand.

You are quoting Jesus: he is saying that he has foretold all things ABOUT HIS DEATH. God sends prophets dreams and visions about the future, but he definitely doesn't tell all things that will happen and when. He tells us what He thinks we should know. His reasoning is beyond ours; our little human brains would probably blow a fuse if God told us EVERYTHING that would happen. He tells us enough to get by through His Word.
