In the center of the rib cage, just under the bone. I drink plenty of other alcoholic beverages and this does not happen. Only when I drink wine. I usually drink it very chilled, or if it is something like sweet vermouth, on ice.

Sometimes the pains are so intense they make me cry. So far the only way I have found to stop it is with slow breathing exercises, sometimes a sodium bicarbonate w/ citric acid antacid will work but not always.

it might be the wine or you could have an ucler starting but it would be hard to tell since you're able to drink other alchol drinks,it would most likey that you need a dr.'s opinion and need it check out before its too late hope this helps and good luck
