are regular antibiotics enough for mono?

Antibiotics don't work on mono. If it's a a bad case your doctor might put you one steroids. Oh and don't drink alcohol since mono can effect your liver.

Mono just takes time - like 6 mo.+

antibiotics unfortunately do not work on mono, usually steroids are prescribed
